Our community deserves dependable service, honest communication, and a company that puts people over profits.

Founder & Owner
Erie Waste

Our Story

Erie Waste was founded in 2022 by Zane Rohrbacher with a simple goal — to build a people-first trash company that offers a better alternative to corporate waste providers.

Zane saw firsthand how big companies put profits before people — raising prices, hiding behind customer service call centers, and forgetting the communities they serve. He knew Erie deserved something better.

From day one, our focus has been on doing things the right way: fair pricing, reliable service, and treating every customer like a neighbor — not a number. As Erie has grown, so have we. By
listening to residents, supporting local initiatives, and continuously improving our operations, we’ve built lasting relationships rooted in trust.

We’re proud to be a locally owned and operated company, started by Zane Rohrbacher, born and raised right here in Sandusky — and we’re just getting started.
